How Bob Doyle Uses Fish Audio to Turn AI Art Into Stories With Voice

After nearly four decades behind the microphone and camera, Bob Doyle is now using AI to reimagine what one creator can make. An AI Creative Expert, educator, and content creator behind Bob Doyle Media, Bob has built an audience of more than 120,000 followers across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn by exploring how AI can transform the creative process.

Bob regularly experiments with AI tools across video, animation, voice, music, avatars, and storytelling, combining different technologies to turn ideas into characters, scenes, and finished stories. As his projects became more ambitious, he needed voices that could bring those creations to life and adapt quickly as his ideas evolved. That's what led him to Fish Audio, which has become another creative tool in his workflow.

Giving Visuals a Voice

Bob's creative process often starts with an idea. Inspiration can come from almost anywhere, including movies, music, books, social media trends, conversations with friends, or simply a random thought.

"I love taking an idea and figuring out how to bring it to life."

From there, Bob may use tools like Claude or ChatGPT to brainstorm before moving through multiple stages of image generation, animation, refinement, editing, and upscaling.

As Bob began creating more educational content, tutorials, marketing videos, and longer-form projects, he needed better voiceovers, dialogue, and multilingual capabilities. Fish Audio gave him a way to incorporate those elements more easily while saving time and giving him greater flexibility.

Watch Bob Doyle Put Fish Audio to the Test

In one of his Fish Audio demonstrations, Bob explores how AI voice can add emotion and personality to his characters, combining voice generation with visual storytelling and lip-syncing to turn simple dialogue into a scene.

For Bob, the appeal isn't simply generating a voice. It's being able to experiment with how a character sounds and feels, then quickly adjust the performance as the story develops.

From an Idea to a Finished Creation

Bob describes his creative process as highly iterative. A project might move through several AI tools before reaching the final result, with each stage allowing him to refine the concept.

That experimentation can take hours or even days, even for a short video. Bob considers himself a perfectionist, constantly regenerating elements, making small adjustments, and looking for ways to improve the final piece.

AI hasn't removed that creative work. Instead, it has expanded what's possible.

Fish Audio adds another layer to that process by allowing Bob to create consistent voiceovers, dialogue, and character performances without having to record every line manually. If a script changes, he can update the line rather than start the recording process again.

That flexibility becomes especially valuable when creating educational content, talking-head videos, AI avatars, or stories that require multiple characters and languages.

When Voice Becomes Part of the Production Process

One of Bob's biggest surprises with Fish Audio was how easy it was to use and how accurately it could reproduce his voice.

Once his voice was cloned, his editor could create voiceovers without Bob needing to record every line manually. He could send over a script or make changes while the content continued moving through production.

"Voice cloning has probably been the most useful feature for me."

That flexibility is particularly useful for tutorials, promotional content, talking-head videos, and AI avatars. If Bob needs to change a line, he can update the voiceover instead of recording himself again.

The ability to create different voices and work across languages also gives him more room to experiment with characters and storytelling.

Another Look at What Voice AI Can Create

Bob's Fish Audio projects show how voice can become part of the creative process rather than simply a final production step.

His advice for creators working with voice AI reflects that approach:

"I would look at voice AI as both a creative tool and a way to make your workflow more efficient."

For Bob, the value comes from being able to experiment with dialogue, characters, languages, and different versions of a project while integrating voice throughout the workflow.

Building a Style, Not Following a Formula

With new AI tools appearing constantly, Bob believes it's important for creators to develop their own identity rather than simply follow what everyone else is doing.

"One of the biggest is how important it is to develop your own style and creative identity instead of constantly trying to follow what everyone else is doing."

He also emphasizes that professional AI content still requires experimentation, problem-solving, editing, and attention to detail. The technology may speed up parts of production, but the creative process remains very much in the creator's hands.

Looking Toward More Cinematic AI Storytelling

Bob continues to experiment with new ideas, tools, and trends while working on content for his own brand as well as brands and clients.

Looking ahead, he wants to move further into longer-form storytelling, including fully AI-created short films, mini-series, and more cinematic narrative projects.

"I think we're getting closer to a point where individual creators and small teams will be able to produce stories that previously would have required much larger traditional production teams, and that's something I'm really excited about."

For Bob Doyle, AI isn't about making creativity effortless. It's about giving creators more ways to turn an idea into something real.

And with tools like Fish Audio adding voice, dialogue, and flexibility to the process, the boundary between a visual concept and a fully realized story keeps getting smaller.
